1. Rossi
2. Hopkins
3. Roberts
4. Vermeulen
5. Nakano
6. Capirossi
7. Hayden
8. Stoner
9. Melandri
10. de Puniet
Bridgestones obviously helped out during qualifying but Hopper has shown that he can keep the pace of the big dogs during the race...... This should be an interesting race......for 2nd place

And it turned out as expected..... but with a few twists:
The doctor got it done with Nicky in tow both several seconds ahead of the pack. Roberts and Hopper had a good battel for third with KRJR taking it at the end. LOTs of crashes and a red flag toook out Capirex, Pedrossa, Melandri and others.
Nicky now has the points Championship by a margin of 20. Rossi is ALWAYS the biggest threat....

You need to win more than your home GP to win the championship though...

Not neccesarily. It could be done if you get enough of the other guys splitting up the points and you keep yourself on the podium.
Does Nicky wanna win that way? No. But it is interesting how he has himself in a bit of a squeeze and can't risk losing a big points lead by letting it all hang out for the win. He WILL BE forced to do just that however if Rossi continues to finish in front of him which he most likely will.

Moot point really.
Now that the Yamaha seems sorted out it is game, set, rip down the net.

it's shaping up to a real interesting race season... a mix of good luck and bad for every team...

Hi Guys

I missed the last MotoGP race  My Tivo recorded all AMA stuff and missed the MotoGP. I am wondering if any one got the last one on DVD and can send me a copy. I am willing to pay S&H DVD cost in exchange or I will return the favor in future. Please let me know. I am in San Jose CA. thanks
