Are you looking for a head count for the bug game, follow, or for the conference? In any case, I'm in for both! Hmmm . . . maybe this should be a separate thread.

I suggest you avoid the downtown area all together (congestion and construction). After you pass Blue Springs take I-470 South. It will take you to Lees Summit and turn west. Next it meets up to I-435 continue west. When you get to Antioch there is a nice BBQ called Haywoods just south of there. And a gas station. If you don't stop there continue west and after you cross I-35, I-435W turns to the north and becomes I-435 North again. Once you reach I-70 you'll also be at the racetrack with it's restaurants and shopping. There is an Arther Bryants and a Famous Daves and about 50 other places to eat there.

Care to meet up with us at one of those places?

I've got Haywoods already "saved" on my route.

Another spot that was featured on "Diners, Drive Ins and Dives" looks really good: "BBQ Shack" in Paola, south of Kansas City.

Sounds like we'll have to hit these places both coming and going. Maybe make some loop-de-loops, ya' know, to be fair to everybody.

There's going to be some serious working out after this trip. :muscles:
