Back in the saddle ....sort of....
Hi ladies. I finally feel almost healed enough to ride my bike again. I put insurance on my bike today and went for a short ride. 20km. (12 miles)
Even though I was a bit apprehensive it still felt good to be able to go ride again. It didn't take long, though, before I started feeling some aches and so I decided not to push myself and went home.
I lay down with a heat pack on my shoulder and promptly fell asleep for an hour. Who would have thought that such a short ride could be so exhausting.
I will need to build up my stamina if I ever want to go any further than my next door city.
I had wondered how I would react to riding after my crash last year. I think I managed quite well...all things considered.

Good for you, Blues! Before you know it, things will be back to normal. A little bit of apprehension is good for keeping us safe. Glad to hear that you're back in the saddle!
Cheers,

Good to see you back on the road blues.....and what make are those boots? They look a bit like the ones I got.
Waterproof and reasonably warm.
