Now this is just dumb.....

Kinder Eggs have been banned in the USA. You can still buy guns and go on shooting sprees ( as evidenced by what happened at the movie theatre in Colorado)...but if you have a Kinder Egg you could get fined or go to jail.
Sheesh...

I read a news article about 2 Canadian men who were travelling to the states to go visit family. They had 6 Kinder Eggs in their possessions in the trunk of their vehicle to be given to the kids of the family they were visiting. . The customs and immigration people took away the eggs and arrested the 2 men for smuggling. They were later released...

Then..the next day I read about the guy who shot all those people in the movie theatre....

What's wrong with this picture?

Makes me want to go buy a Kinder Egg tomorrow. Just because I can.

Ummm it's highly illegal to buy guns and go on shooting sprees Blues. Fortunately nobody I know was injured by that psychotic sonofa... but some friends friends were in the theater next door apparently.

Yes, I know it's illegal to go on shooting sprees...

My point was that it is legal to buy a gun but not a chocolate egg with a toy in it.

Kinder Eggs, a popular European chocolate egg that contains a toy inside, is banned from importation into the United States because it contains a "non-nutritive object embedded in it."

The candy is considered unsafe for children under 3.
