I have always wondered why people have a preference !

I personally always push the bars, so that the clutch side is closest to the tank, making the wheel face the kick stand side and to the left.
It just always seemed that the bike is leaned to left more, and less likely to fall to the right.

Forks turned right for me. Clutch side in.

The stand on my bike is relatively upright. It sits a little too straight for my comfort when the bars are turned right, despite the fact that the fork lock only works in that orientation.

90% of the time I use the center-stand. Otherwise front wheel to the left.

My sidestand keeps the bike very upright. I have more peace of mind when the front wheel is turned to the left. It's also the direction the fork lock works and I always lock the forks.

Forks to the left, that's how the manufacturer designed it to work on every bike I've ever seen. I have a friend who has a Soft tail lowered 1 inch up front and 3 in the back, if he's on even cement, and points his bars opposite of normal, it takes literally someone brushing it as they walk by to tip it over, otherwise it'll just sit no problem!

The wheel to the right looks cooler, but it's much easier to push your bike over way. Try it, have someone stand on teh otherside and hip check it. Now try it with the bars turned full lock left... I guess putting more weight on the sidestand is helpful :laughing:
