Do you think ABS will do much for the majority of riders? On a car, you have one foot controling 4 brakes. On a bike, you have one hand controling one brake and one foot controling the other one. I can't imagine more control than that, but I've never rode an ABS bike so I'm open to opinions. :D I've also read ABS is bad for off-road use.

For the vote, I voted for Carburation/Fuel Injection as I'd like FI on my bike over 80's carbs. I think it's about time that all bikes should go FI like H-D has done to their entire lineup. (WTG H-D).

I've never ridden a bike with ABS either, but I did skid my rear tire braking once at a stoplight in the rain. I did *not* like it.

The way I see it, it doesn't matter how many individual wheels you're stopping with one lever. It's impossible for a human being operating a manual lever to get close to maximum possible braking, adjusted for the tire, surface, load, surface conditions, etc. Either you will be not braking nearly as hard as you can or you *will* start to skid the tire - especially in a panic situation. Especially in slick conditions.

ABS systems are simply better at braking than people are.

Practicality: Motorcycle as a form of cheap reliable transportation rather than hobby vehicles. More cross genre type things.

Next is fuel economy.
