Okay so this sounds stupid, but I just bought a 1986 Shadow VT700C without an owners manual. Got the Clymers for repairs, but I can not for the life of me figure out if there is a fuel reserve setting vs. just on or off? I see nothing to indicate this-do I just go by the idiot light that goes on? Thanks.

Not sure about a Shadow but just idiot light, no reserve on my Gold Wing.

Usually bikes with idiot fuel lights do not have reserve.
