If it helps any I can pass the torch through Amish country.
I'm located just north of Lancaster, PA. in a little town called Denver.
If you're in DC we could meet somewhere near Baltimore (about halfway give or take.)
I could then run it west toward State College, or north toward either Williamsport, or Wilkes-Barre, or East into New Jersey.
Or I could be available for the return trip if it comes my way as it looks like you're already heading west from DC.

Dang, I sure would like to become involved in this project...

I will be on the road from May 26th until June 30th. I'm going to be doing a cross country trip with blues2cruise. If nothing else, meeting a few members on the road would be great. We haven't finalized a route or timetable yet, but even when it's done, (much like our last trip,) the route will be in a constant state of flux. So with that in mind, I will keep an eye on this topic and see where it's going and when...

Since we can't be there to ride, would anyone mind receiving post card or two with a writeup of a place or two we travel here in Japan? All I'd ask is if you stick it in the book for me.

If we can find someone for you to meet in Ohio or take it to Ohio, then that would be stellar.

storysunfolding. How far have you got with your plan?

Just a thought... if I could get the "Package" before dr_bar comes through Manitoba, with a bit of planning, I should be able to pass it along.

Edit....Well! I had dr_bar's route in reverse :? . So the above idea will not work.

Pongo-

We have locations, but no times. If it works out,. that would be awesome. I imagine that this is going to be a whole new creature when the book starts moving.

BigB-

Sorry, I'm being too concise. To include seetrout we need a link between PA and OH. Otherwise you'll get to meet the me somewhere in Ohio after I pass through teh twisted lovely roads of WV

What I remember of OHIO was that it was FLAT. And the roads were straight as an arrow.
And it's a long way from Lancaster, although I might be coerced. 250 miles one way just to Pittsburgh. On the Turnpike, blah. :groan:
