Following Lynmouth we went onto a little place called Combe Martin & had lunch overlooking the harbour. I also had a large vodka (well I was on the back)
Whilst sitting there I had an email from my head of dept about a work matter she was sorting for me. Whilst I expected her to contact me it was a surprise to receive it then
We had hoped to visit a small motorcycle museum but were disappointed to learn that it had closed due to lack of funding.
Our plan was then to get back up onto the top of the moor to get a last look at some of the views. Unfortunately fella turned the wrong way (teminding me again why I now have my own bike), taking us on a long detour.
We did eventually get back up on the top & actually because it was later than planned were treated to a glorious sunset. Sorry no pics as he didn't stop!
Our final stop was the traditional pub at Minehead harbour which had made us welcome throughout the week. It was good to be by the coal fire after a windswept ride but quickly got too hot with all our gear on
After a farewell drink
we took the bike home. I opted to stay in, have a long bath & pack. Fella went back to pub.
