As we drove by they were changing from their regular clothes to their fire gear. I saw a big hairy German guy with red and white hearted boxers, changing into his fire gear.

I have got to learn to keep my eyes front.
To bad you did not have a camera, I bet that would have been cool to publish. 8) Yes keeping your eyes on the road does sound like a good idea since I would have had a harder time staying up after seeing that laughing so hard.

We were in the family car and the wife was driving. She drives the cars because she really likes to drive and personally I do not mind letting her.

Daddy is a monster.

Before we moved into the house in Colorado Springs we were all living in a studio hotel room. Michelle and I shared a bed, Matthew was on the other bed and the little ones were on the floor on their themed air mattresses. One morning at 3am CJ woke up Michelle because there was a monster in the room. When CJ woke Michelle up I woke up as well. CJ snuggled into bed with us and I fell back asleep as did I. When I did fall back asleep I started snoring again. That is when CJ started screaming that the monster was back....

Toyota's and Hills

#46 Unread post by pinger05 »

Riding home from work today I noticed a 90ish Toyota Camry tailgating me. He was so close I could see the gel in his hair through my mirrors. He did a really bad job with the gel. A really bad job. The road home is hilly with one hill reaching a 7% grade for 1/4 a mile. I could have been nice and pulled over to let him pass.

But I am not nice.

In fact I am evil.

Very evil.

At the bottom of the hill I slowed down to the speed limit (I was only doing 4 or 5 over) then as we started up the hill I slowed a little more then gunned it. Of course his little 1.5l engine could not accelerate up the hill. After that I he stopped tailgating me.

Bug Boomed

#48 Unread post by pinger05 »

Yesterday the wife, my 6 year old daughter and I were in the master bedroom. My wife reached behind her to get baby wipe and came up with the wipe and an earwig. My daughter let out a screech that would make horror film director proud. That of course made the wife scream and flick the earwig at my daughter. Daughter totally freaked out, screamed louder, ran out of the bedroom flaying her hands.

I laughed...loudly

After collecting the poor offending bug and disposing of it the daughter calmed down enough to come back into the master bedroom. She looked at me with those watery doe eyes and said "Dad the house needs to be bug boomed".
