Before buying any bike, go over and look at it, check the condition of it. Has it been dropped? Check for scrapes and such. Then if you're not mechanically inclined, have it checked out at a shop. Most shops will charge an hour's labor (usually around 75-110 dollars) and will give you a pretty good idea of the condition of the bike and whether or not it'd be worth it!
Good luck!

if you get that Harley, drain the oil and refill with Amsoil 20-50. The superior synthetic formula provides for long service life and unsurpassed wear protection. There are multiple testimonies that operating temps run cooler using this oil.
