I'm not quite sure what other forum to post this in, so I'll stick this in here.

Quite often, I will stop getting e-mail notices that a thread has been updated. I have not clicked on the stop notifying me regarding this thread link, and have followed the link in the e-mail that states "until you click on this link no further notices will be sent to you"

Any body have an idea as to why this is, and what I can do to rectify it?

What happens is the forum will send you out an email:

Topic Reply Notification - (the thread name you are watching)

and a link in it to click on to go to the last post in that thread when the email notification was sent to you.

If you DO NOT click on that link the forum will assume you do not wish to watch the topic anymore. This is so you don't get spammed from all the new replies in that thread. Some threads have 830 replies to them and I'm sure you wouldn't be happy getting 800 Topic Reply Notification's. haha.

So if you want to keep watching that topic just click on the link and it will take you to the last reply and again send you a Topic Reply Notification email when that topic is replied to again.

You could just reply to the thread and it will watch it again.
