#1 Unread post by totalmotorcycle »

Just checking 2012 Bimota motorcycles today and it seems all their sites are down/gone/removed??

http://www.bimotausa.com/

http://www.bimota.it/

http://www.bimota-deutschland.de/

Weird.

I found a Bimota enthusiasts internet forum that seems pretty current (posts made today), a quick scan didn't show any posts about Bimota closing. They seem to have recently hired Ruben Xaus.

That's good to know. Maybe they are just updating their sites...

One of their pages said "sito in aggiornamento". Aggiornamento can translate a couple of ways, but one translation is "revision" or "update".

Great! Well, let's hope that update brings many good things to all us riders out there. :D

I guess this is not an accurate translation.

Perhaps you are right, because some automatic translators can translate the same phrase in different ways.

Is it really a blog? I am honestly not familiar with Bimota.

Bimota still exists, but it is hardly the same company as it was before the V-Due. The highly advanced superbike was an ambitious project, and proved to be its downfall.
