Well as you guys know I rolled my truck, and I have been wanting another bike for years...
So because I live so close to work that I can walk if it snows, I went and bought myself a bike as daily transportation!
Yes I know this is CO, yes I've been called nuts before, and yes it's a bit chilly riding without heated gear and grips, but it's a bike!

Anyway because insurance is still messing with me on the payout, and they took away the rental car, I ended up having to get a loan, but they wouldn't finance anything older than 10 years.

Luckily a buddy of mine happened to be selling his 05 Z750S, and I picked that up today...

Like I said, 05, Z750S, 4K miles (broke 4100 riding it home), immaculate condition, only one tiny paint ding on the paint...

Very nice!! I almost bought an '03 but I didn't think it would be the best first bike...a little too much power to learn on...would be nice now though...

Congratulations...nice colour too...much better than the red I looked at.

Later.

Actually I was looking at an 03 to start with haha. I texted the friend that I knew had one at one point, asked him if he still had his, and what he thought of it...
Turns out he did still have it, thought it was a good bike, and had it for sale!
I definitely like this one better than the 03 I looked at... Better frame, motor, suspension, fuel injection, not laid down, 2 years newer, same mileage, and same price... haha

Awesome, if you had bought the bike first, you would have never rolled the truck.... LOL Maybe you'll listen to your TMW friends next time :o)

Congrats on the new bike, looks in as great shape as you describe.

Happy bike day Mate, you will not be dissapointed, they are fun bikes to ride and you will never see the full limit. Lot of guys use these for stunters.

I guarantee I'll never see the full limit. I've already found it to be an extremely capable bike, way underrated by most Americans. For some reason Americans tend to go to one of three categories...
1. Cruiser
2. Supersport
3. Dirtbike

I can definitely see why stunters use these, and have no idea why so many of ours use sportbikes, then modify them with dirtbike bars, different gearing, etc to become exactly what this is already!

I did however find out that it does not like to ride in mud... lol
