I'm not surprised at their sales numbers, given how long it's taking for my MP3 to get here...my dealer is getting 4 in, and all 4 have had deposits put down on them, with other people waiting on a list.

I figure it'll get here right about the time the hybrid comes out... =sigh=

A hybrid scooter? That seems stupid. What's it going to get, 200 mpg?

140 miles to the gallon. durn. i've wondered why they don't put this technology in bikes. guess maybe they think it won't sell. but i'm sure some bikes would sell if you said you could get 140 miles to the gallon.

The scooter craze got nipped in the bud here for a little bit. The president of Ohio State just lost his son-in-law in a scooter accident, and his daughter is going to have rehab--I think for hip & leg, but she also had some kind of head injury. They expect her to recover fully in about six months.

They were 2-up on a vespa, and collided with an SUV.

That's horrible :(

I hope their deaths are not in vain and this will bring more attention to the matter of Automobile safety towards 2 wheeled transportation.

Scooters are already incredibly fuel efficient and cheap transportation. A scooter with hybrid technology will only appeal to fools with too much money and not enough sense.
