TMW minor site design. Need your opinon on Screen Resolution
TMW minor site design. Need your opinon on Screen Resolution
What size of screen resolution do you normally use to surf the internet?
640x480
800x600
1024x768
1280x1024
1600x1200
or other?
I'm going to be doing a minor redesign of the Total Motorcycle site to aid in easier navigation and to make the site look cleaner. So I need to know what is the screen size you use.
Thank you!
Mike

It's really simple, but easy to forget if you haven't done it is a loooong time. If you using a IBM-PC using windows then:slimcolo wrote:Mike;
Like how do you find that? I thought that was set by computer or modem. Less than a year ago I was a Webbie.
Right click on a blank area of your desktop
Click on Properties
Click on the Settings tab
You'll see your screen resolution there.

Widescreen? Cool! Does TMW look ok in widescreen? I've added those resolutions to the list. Unfortunately, I can't make the poll multiple choice, it doesn't offer that option. You'll have to choose the most viewed option for you.jonnythan wrote:You could add typical widescreen resolutions..
1280 x 768
1400 x 900
1680 x 1050
1900 x 1200
And maybe make it multiple-choice, since many of us use more than one computer to access the site

At work I browse at 1280 x 1024 on a 17" LCD.
At home, I'm working with either a 1680 x 1050 20.1" widescreen LCD or a 1280 x 768 14" widescreen laptop. Site looks great on all of them.
I typically keep TMW windows at, I'd guess, 1000 x 850 or so, no matter what screen I'm using (except the laptop, of course)
I chose 1280 x 1024 because the home desktop is about the same height, just a bit wider.. and I don't use wider windows to browse the web.
