yeah... it may not be that useful on parking lots.

but i still say it's very useful when turning around in the canyons. it's safer than making a slow U turn in the middle of the road.

How long is it taking you to bust a u-turn? My bike is over 8' long and I can bust one out in no time flat. Might wanna sign up for that BRC everyone is always talking about.

The reality is that you'll waste far more time practicing this that you'll ever save by using it. Plus this isn't something i'd want to try on a gravel covered shoulder. That probably doesn't matter to you though seing as how that's common sense and all.

There is no way that coming to a stop, getting off the bike, flipping the kickstand down, setting you grip, spinning the bike, getting on, flipping up the kickstand, and pulling away is any faster thatn a u-turn. (and that not taking into account stopping and starting the bike)

i guess i'd be better off praticing sliding the rear for a 180º turn.

since like shorts said... i don't have to support it. i just have to guide it. :D

Just keep your slippery "bald" tires on there for now, you should be able to spin it around by blowing on it soon enough.
