(deuce's lady says), Just got my soft-tail deuce back from being rebuilt, still in the break-in period, got spark, fuel, etc., and it won't start now! any suggestions would be appreciated, as the mech. had to head back to Idaho, and promised to be back on Tuesday, but I'm not holding my breath. Thanks in advance..

Is it possible you swapped the plug wires at the coil?

I think all HD's (since the introduction of the Evo motor) use the dual spark ignition with a single coil. I would think the issue in this case would be more of a timing one.

Gummi, I know you're right on the single coil, so the timing is probably what's off. But just to be sure, check to make sure you've got good compression when you crank it over. Put your finger over the spark plug hole and if it can blow it off you should be good. If not then something was screwed up in the rebuild.
