Hi Guys,

I need to change my fork seals, and wondered what was a good place to go to look for Yamaha Parts on Fork Seals.

And is it a good idea to stick with rubber seals or go with Silicone seals? are there an seals that are preferred over stock?

Any help would be appreciated

I don't know if this will hold true for you and Yamahas, but I've found that when replacing the fork oil seals (not the dust seals), I get better luck with the genuine item. I've used after market items, being cheap, and they usually fail. Granted, my forks are usually pitted some. For the time it takes to dismantle the bike and separate the forks, go for the few extra bucks and use the genuine item.
