have my first restore project and I am starting by cleaning all the parts first. I have surface rust on the spoked rims what can I use that wont wreck the chrome to bad

Autosol worked for me removing rust off of chrome for many years, I even bought some here in the UK as I forgot to bring mine from Canada.

Thanks to all for the info. :kicking: 0000# steel wool worked real good but rust went a little to deep in some spots now I have to find some one to rechrome .Will post some pics soon. also got lucky and found some one who has parts I need on ebay that makes me real happy since I'm finding out its a pain in the A$$ trying to find parts but my son and I are learning alot that makes it worth it
