good choice in bikes. just to let you know there is a really good forum for the cx/gl 500/650 bikes. lot of great people with a lot of knowledge of the bikes. here's the link if you're interested.

Plenty of rain-free days but this summer is shaping up to be one of the cooler ones. Plenty warm to ride though. :)

It's great to hear that you're still doing well Matt and back to join us! The old CX's are great bikes and hopefully you do get the chance to get on it for a short ride down to visit (about 5 days, I reckon(!) ).

I'll never blame you for not wanting to leave Alaska buddy. It was an awesome visit (if too short), but we ended up shutting down our facility up there,so there won't be any more free trips for me. It's still on the ride list however.

Don't be a stranger!

Cheers,

Dean - thanks for the tip, I'll check it out!

Skier - My wife keeps telling me how warm and dry it's been this year back home. It's driving me nuts because I'm missing one of the best riding seasons in AK in a LONG time. Last summer is was cold - there were only three days the whole year that the temp broke 70 degrees. This summer it's been in the 80's most of the season.

I can only hope next summer will be as nice. 8)

Great! I'll hold you to it! I've already done a couple of good rides, and I can show you some incredible sights. Just let me know when you're coming. I'll have my wife cook something good, and the CX will be gassed up and ready to go. 8)
