Have you Googled yourself lately?

#1 Unread post by Loonette »

My kids discovered that they could "Google" their names and come up with all sorts of matches in the world. My daughter was pleased to learn that she is also an artist in Chicago, an architect in Pennsylvania, and a member of a rotary club in Perth, Australia. I learned that I'm a lawyer in Colorado and a writer for an online news source (both of whom are active in issues of civil rights).

I also "googled" my nickname, Loonette (which is based on Loonette the Clown from the kids' show "Big Comfy Couch"), and below is a cute little tidbit that I found.

So how 'bout you - what are your google personas?

Cheers,
Loonette

I found that I'm also a lawyer in NYC (ugh!) and in the mid 1600s, I led expeditions that explored unknown regions in West Texas

"Googled yourself"... sounds naughty. Like something one of them computer geeks do in the basement of their Mom's house when she's out grocery shopping.

But I tried it anyway and, whaddaya know... the Statute of Limitations runs a lot longer for certain crimes than I'd thought. Guess I'd better not go back to Wyoming. Or Utah. Or the Calgary Stampede, for that matter.

Aparently I play lacrosse. And my actual self made page 2 of the search, for the wall.

I found that my name is associated with a doctor, a Hong Kong band member in which said band seems to be popular across the pond (UK and such) then there's some one who's wanted for breaking his parole... and no it's not me. Not yet at least.

I'm hit number three, right after a firefighter and a bank manager.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Apparently I have written medical texts as well as being a communication specialist for the government. I also am an artist and photographer and own clothing and textile stores.

My blues2cruise name came up with 2 links. One to TMW and one to the hiking site where I posted a picture.
