my drummer just called me and wanted me to try out for a side project with him.

im gonna be on bass guitar for this gig.

he wants me to learn 8 songs in 1 month while im working and doing other stuff.

hopefully i can manage it since i kinda like the set list and it's gonna be 1 gig only with this group.

I got started putting my Concours back together. I got the front fairing on the bike. Now I get to go to work.

I took my sister for a blast on my MT-01...now she wants to get a bike license...but she is moving in 10days to Kelowna...frikkin bike heaven!! I hope she calls me to help her pick her first bike and doesn't listen to her husband or friends and get the "COOL" bike...I'm going to push her toward the Ninja 400R...great beginner bike that has a cool look and fits the beginner bike profile...plus I have a 14yo that will want to start to ride in two years...gotta plan ahead you know!

I bought a lightweight sleeping bag ready for a solo rally at the weekend! It will be quite an adventure as the rally is sold out (750), although the recent weather might put some people off

I hope to set up camp with some folks I met at another rally a few weeks ago, but will just go with the flow.

The sun is out & we both are on days off

Managed to persuade my fella to take a pootle down to the local biker cafe - had to buy the bacon butties as a bribe

Then went to our favourite local bike shop & bought myself some new gloves + some boot polish/waterproofing cream. My boots were sadly in need of polish & I expect to be riding in the rain this weekend I thought it was about time to proof them too!

This evening we are going to meet up with some biker friends & have a steak dinner - but he's paying this time

Getting ready for the big move in tomorrow to our new home. Today I had to go to the house to accept delivery of a fridge and mower. Soon, no more temp accomodation and we will have our stuff we haven't seen for 4 years back! woohoo.
