FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (July 21, 2016) – AFT Events and the Carolina Harley-Davidson Dealers Association (CHDDA) have announced that fans will be able to enjoy free Dealer Demo Rides presented by the CHDDA on Friday, July 29, and Saturday, July 30, during the Charlotte Half-Mile race weekend from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

The CHDDA will have a demo truck located at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway with a wide variety of motorcycles for fans to choose from in order to experience the Harley-Davidson lifestyle. Patrons of the event will have the luxury to choose from 17 current models of the Harley-Davidson repertoire and will also have the option to cruise on the ever-popular Harley-Davidson Trike.

“We’re excited to be able to offer fans the Harley-Davidson experience at the Charlotte Half-Mile,” said Cameron Gray, COO of AFT Events. “This will bring the fan experience aspect of the race to a whole new level and we are glad that we can do this with the partnership of the CHDDA.”

If you are not a licensed motorcycle rider, have no fear because the CHDDA will have trained staff on-site to guide you through the Harley-Davidson JUMPSTART experience. This program is offered to those who enjoy the roar of the road but the comfort of the parking lot. The Harley-Davidson JUMPSTART provides a fully-equipped bike with the ability to pull back on the throttle, have your feet on the pegs and feel the roar of the cherished Harley-Davidson motorcycle without moving an inch.

“We will have 17 new Harley-Davidson models available for test rides, including our incredible CVO Screamin’ Eagle models,” said Aimee Thomas of Speedway Harley-Davidson, President of the CHDDA. “Come out and join us in all the fun. We will be there for demos from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. both Friday and Saturday.”

Spectators who wish to participate in the Dealer Demo Rides must have a current motorcycle license and be over the age of 18. Those who plan to take a ride on the open road must bring a helmet, wear closed-toe shoes and long pants or jeans. Rides are mapped out throughout Concord, N.C. with Harley-Davidson approved lead and trail riders to guide the group on a fun and safe adventure.

Demo rides will be happening every hour starting at 10:00 a.m. and participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to departure for safety instructions.

Tickets for the CHDDA Charlotte Half-Mile start at just $29 for adults and kids 13 and under get in free. For more information regarding the event, scheduled for Saturday, July 30, fans are encouraged to visit http://www.charlottemotorspeedway.com/a ... half_mile/.
