With 50-State Certification Complete, ARCH Motorcycle Company Looks to Ramp Up Engagement in 2016

Los Angeles, CA (February 20, 2016) - ARCH Motorcycle Company, the ultra-premium American V-twin motorcycle manufacturer co-founded by Gard Hollinger and Keanu Reeves, has announced that its first production model, the KRGT-1, has been certified emissions-compliant by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and the Environmental Protection Agency and is legal in all fifty of the United States.

"CARB certification was always our goal," says Hollinger. "We were committed to that from day one. It was a grueling process and important for us to achieve in order to deliver on our promise of a production-quality, custom performance cruiser."

ARCH held the official media launch for the KRGT-1 in March of 2015 and received high marks from every motorcycle media representative who rode it. Since then, the KRGT-1 has continued to impress respected journalists as well as every enthusiast who has had the opportunity to experience it. The KRGT-1 was also chosen as one of the ten fantasy gifts for the legendary Neiman Marcus Christmas Book for 2015.

"Arch tasked us with building a powerful-yet-rideable powertrain. That part was easy for S&S," says S&S VP of Sales Paul Devine. "But they also asked for 50-state compliance. That wasn't easy, but, in the end, we developed an engine that pairs brute V-twin power with emissions compliance."

The KRGT-1 represents the culmination of years of R&D focused on producing a category-defying American motorcycle with real-world rideability to match its meticulous craftsmanship. ARCH designed its streamlined, retro-modern styling to bring the contours of the past into the present. The bike showcases over 200 parts created at the ARCH production facility, each bike requiring 300-plus machine hours using state-of-the-art CNC and water-jet machinery. Dozens of other proprietary parts are supplied by premium vendor partners who share the same demanding standards.

Achieving 50-state certification is just the start of what looks to be an exciting and busy 2016 for the ARCH Motorcycle Company--they will be attending numerous motorcycle-related and promotional events around the country, and the R&D process is currently underway for a second ARCH motorcycle.
