@ESPARGARO & @VINALES ‘KICKING ABOUT’ IN #JAPAN
Team Suzuki Press Office – December 22.
Team SUZUKI ECSTAR’s MotoGP riders Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Viñales had a friendly ‘kick-about’ with some of Japan’s young talented footballers recently; and got a good kicking!
During a visit to Suzuki Motor Corporation’s HQ at Hamatatsu in Japan between MotoGP races, the two Spaniards took-on a young team of talented ‘kids’ from the Hamamatsu Football Team.
This fun clip shows Espargaro and Viñales meeting-up with the city’s famous character IEYASA-kun, Hamamatsu City Major Yasutomo Suzuki, along with Suzuki’s R&D Department, plus Toshihiro Suzuki (Representative Director and President, COO) and Eiji Mochizuki (Director and Senior Managing Officer, Executive General Manager of Motorcycle Operations) at Suzuki Motor Corporation.
Despite their impressive ball-skills, both Spaniards got the run-around from these very talented youngsters. As Espargaro and Viñales say: “We enjoyed it a lot. The kids were very, very, very good. We were very bad!”
