ATLANTA (August 20, 2015) – Triumph Motorcycles America has been racing in support of our nation’s heroes throughout the 2015 season, as well as saluting them with the relaunch of the ‘Thank-A-Hero’ program.

Triumph has partnered with VETMotorsports, a non-clinical outreach program that honors and empowers disabled combat veterans by encouraging active participation in motorsports. Through Castrol’s VETMotorsports Performance Match Fund, the on-track success of the Triumph factory-backed teams in both AMA Pro Flat Track and MotoAmerica has earned VETMotorsports $7,750 thus far this racing season, which wraps up at the end of September.

VETMotorsports has been embedding veterans as crew members with the Latus Motors Racing MotoAmerica and Bonneville Performance Flat Track teams throughout the season. Adding to the success of the program, Sgt. Chad C. was hired on for the entirety of the MotoAmerica season with Latus Motors Racing.

“We have a number of veterans on staff at Triumph and we love what VETMotorsports stands for and does. Triumph is honored to be able to help get more veterans involved in motorsports,” said Matt Sheahan, COO of Triumph Motorcycles America. “The Thank-A-Hero program is also another way we’re extending our gratitude to our veterans.”

The Triumph ‘Thank-A-Hero’ program recognizes active duty military, retired or honorably discharged former military service members, police officers, and firefighters by offering a $500 voucher with the purchase of any new Triumph motorcycle. Vouchers can be used in-store or online towards the purchase of Triumph parts, accessories, clothing or merchandise. This program runs through September 30, 2015, and can be combined with any other offers.
