@Yamaha's Podium Domination Turns the #Racing World Blue

Yamaha Racing continues to build on a successful 2015 racing season in all major racing championships around the world with another successful weekend of events from all corners of the globe.

A passionate company with a proud racing history, Yamaha Motor Corporation prides itself on its racing endeavours and the 2015 season has certainly showcased Yamaha's high quality and diverse product range.

MXGP
It was a powerhouse display by Yamaha Racing at the 13th round of the World Motocross Championships in the Czech Republic with the all class contested over the weekend won by Yamaha. The MXGP, MX2, Women's and EMX class were all won by Yamaha riders.

Romain Febvre is taking the 2015 season by storm on his YZ450F. In his first year of MXGP, Febvre is leading the world championship by a whopping 88 points after 13 rounds and his performance at Loket on the weekend cemented his standing as the man to beat in MXGP this season. Team mate Jeremy Van Horebeek finished fifth on the weekend and now sits eighth in the championship after an injury interrupted season.

MX2 saw Valentin Guillod hit the top step of the podium for the third time this season with his 2-1 results in Loket. He is locked in a tight championship battle for the MX2 crown with Tim Gasier and it will come down to a final round showdown between the pair to determine a winner.

Brad Anderson took the win in the EMX300 class on a YZ250 two stroke while Kiara Fontanesi won the Women's World Championship on her YZ250F for the fourth consecutive time.

AMA
Yamalube Yamaha Star Racing's has become the powerhouse of MX2 racing in the US with Jeremy Martin, Cooper Webb and Aaron Plessinger leading the way. Jeremy Martin holds the championship lead after eight rounds despite a challenging day at round eight of the series in Washougal.

Cooper Webb has returned from injury and instantly been on the pace. Webb took his secondt round win of the season at Washougal and looks to be back in the form that took him to the West Coast Supercross championship earlier in the year. Plessinger also hit the podium at Washougal with a third place finish.

Four YZ250F make up the top 10 in AMA250 points with Jeremy Martin leading, Alex Martin in fifth, Plessinger in seventh and Cooper Webb barnstorming his way back to tenth after missing several rounds.

A fire has been lit under JGR's Justin Barcia and he has been on a tear in the 450cc class. Mounted on the ultra-powerful YZ450F that has seen him holeshot the last seven out of seven motos, Barcia finished second at Washougal, with a small mistake on the final few laps costing him the overall victory.

He is teamed with Phil Nicolette and Weston Peick and it is often an all blue front line in the first turn of any AMA National as they shadow Barcia into the first turn. Nicolette and Peick finished fifth and sixth on the weekend and all three riders are inside the top 10 in the points standings.

SUZUKA 8 HOUR
The Yamaha Racing Team of Pol Espargo, Bradley Smith and Katsuyuki Nakasuga broke a 19 year drought at Suzuka for Yamaha after taking victory in the prestigious event. On board the thundering Yamaha R1, the team raced a near perfect event to take the win and make it a very historical occasion for Yamaha and the riders and teams involved.

MOTOGP
Yamaha has a stranglehold in MotoGP competition with Yamaha teamster Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo sitting 1-2 in the points respectively on the all new Yamaha R1. It's been a blistering return to form for Rossi and his Yamaha team and the new R1 proving to be an amazing race bike in GP form.

ASC
After three rounds the YRT team of Wayne Maxwell, Cru Halliday and Glenn Allerton sit 2-3-4 in the championship and the R1 has won two out of the three rounds contested. With limited time to develop the bike for racing in Australian conditions, the R1 has proven that in near standard trim it was immediately on the pace out on the race track.

AMA ROAD
The 2015 AMA Superbike season has just passed the halfway mark with Monster Energy/ Grave Yamaha Superbikes teamsters of Josh Hayes and Cameron Beaubier calling all the shots. Hayes takes a four point lead into the last half of the year over Beaubier.

Yamaha also dominate the support classes with the Blue riders leading the Superstock 1000cc as well as the Supersport category.

MX NATIONALS
Kade Mosig pulled down his second round win of the year at round seven of the MX Nationals with his 3-1 results on the CDR Yamaha YZ450F. Mosig sits in third place in the championship and with some new found consistency will be storming home in the final rounds of the championship.

The MX2 is shaping as a battle between dueling YZ250F's as Serco Yamaha's Luke Clout and JCR Yamaha's go blow for blow in the championship chase. Wilson finished third on the weekend with two consistent motos and gained just a solitary point on Clout who claimed 7-1 results.

In the championship chase, four of the top five riders are mounted on YZ250F's with Clout, Wilson, Jed Beaton and Wade Hunter sitting 1-2-4-5 respectively.

The MXD class sees Wilson Todd holding the red plate after seven rounds. Todd was third on the weekend and has won three of the seven rounds contested so far. Team mate Mitch Evans has just returned from injury and already back on the podium finishing second on the weekend.

WORLD JUNIOR MX CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2015 edition of the World Junior Motocross Championships hit the El Molar circuit in Spain with Yamaha's YZ125 featuring in the results. Maxime Renaux from France won both motos to take the championship on his Kemea Yamaha YZ125 while Australia's Hunter Lawrence finished third on a bike that was little more than a standard YZ125 with the YMA Performance pack. Not bad for a bike that some people say is old and outdated.

AORC
Yamaha are closing in on two class championships as the 2015 Australian Off Road season starts to wind down. With just two rounds remaining, Active8 Yamaha's Josh Green has a stranglehold on the E1 class on board his WR250F and just needs a couple to secure the win while Beau Ralston leads the E2 class on his YZ450F with a 12 point gap over his nearest rival.

WEC
Yamaha riders are also well placed in the World Enduro Championship with three riders entrenched in the top 10 in the E1 class. All three continue to show signs of improvement as the season has progressed and with plenty of rounds to go, the results should continue to improve.
