ATLANTA (July 11, 2015) – The AMA Pro Flat Track series stops at the Indy Mile at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, in Indianapolis, Ind., on Saturday, July 11. It’s the third event in as many weekends for Triumph riders Brandon Robinson and Jake Shoemaker.

Brandon Robinson, rider of the #44 Latus Motors Racing / Castrol / Triumph Bonneville, is one of five championship contenders in the GNC1 class that has scored points in every Main this year and currently sits sixth in the points standings. After finishing outside the top ten for only the second time last weekend at the Du Quoin Mile, he looks to rebound at a track where his Bonneville is expected to be competitive.

“I’m excited to race at another mile this weekend in Indy as the Latus Motors Racing / Castrol / Triumph Bonneville performs great at these long tracks,” said Brandon Robinson. “Plus I’m looking forward to getting some redemption after some bad luck last weekend.”

Jake Shoemaker of the #55 Bonneville Performance / Castrol / Triumph Bonneville is having a consistent season and sits 13th in the points standings. He equaled his second best finish of the season at Du Quoin and is looking to break into the top ten at the Indy Mile.

As part of its outreach initiative, VETMotorsports will embed Sgt. Edward S., of Columbus, Ohio, with the Bonneville Performance team. Through Castrol’s VETMotorsports Performance Match Fund, the on-track performance of Triumph teams in both Flat Track and MotoAmerica competition has earned VETMotorsports $4,900 in bonuses thus far this season.
