Escape Anywhere - #VStrom #650XT Cross-Touring

Take the road less travelled, take the road less gravelled, the latest addition to the ever expanding V-Strom range is now on sale -The V-Strom 650XT Cross-Touring.

Since first introduced in 2004, V-Strom 650 has been a top selling model in the adventure-touring segment over the last decade. The name V-Strom has become synonymous with comfortable, versatile adventure touring machines. In recent times, customer demand for more off-road capable and styled adventure tourers has grown. To answer those demands and expand the choice for touring riders, Suzuki proudly introduces the V-Strom 650XT Cross-Touring in two exciting platforms, full-powered and learner-approved.

Both models come equipped with the newly designed, spoked aluminium wheel rims, manufactured by DID, which are light weight and provide sporty appearance with enhanced shock absorption performance in off-road conditions.

Like its 1000cc big brother, the V-Strom 650XT range receive the distinctive beak-like front cowl inspired by Suzuki's Dakar heritage along with narrow and compact bodywork designed for long range comfort. The beak features intake ducts which direct air to the radiator.

The V-Strom 650XT's four-stroke, DOHC, 645cm3 90-degree V-twin powerplant is ready for full-range riding enjoyment. It offers the distinctive beat feel of a V-twin, ample torque for easy handling at low and mid-range revs, and powerful performance at the high end of the rev range. A broad powerband makes for smooth going on steep twisty roads, open highways, and crowded city streets. Plus, great fuel economy ensures a class-leading^ riding range. The learner-approved models output is restricted to 35kW to meet the Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme (LAMS) requirements.

The V-Strom 650XT Learner-approved is available now in Pearl White colour scheme for a recommended retail price of $10,990*.

The full-powered V-Strom 650XT is also available now in two colour schemes - Matte Grey and Pearl White and is equipped with Genuine Suzuki accessory hand-guards, engine under cowling and engine protection bars for the rigors of off-road adventure riding for a recommended retail price of $11,490*.
