MOTORCYCLE SHOW THIS WEEKEND
Dallas, TX (January 22, 2015) – The Triumph Castrol Rocket, a streamlined motorcycle set to
attempt the FIM land speed record, will be at the Dallas stop of the Progressive International
Motorcycle Show this weekend, January 23-25, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.
Powered by two Triumph Rocket III engines, the Rocket produces over 1,000 horsepower and
500-plus lbs. of torque. The team’s goal is to break the motorcycle land speed record of 376.156
mph with the ultimate goal to surpass 400 mph.
Spectators will have a rare chance to get up close to one of the world’s most technologically
advanced streamlined motorcycles. The Triumph Castrol Rocket will be on display during show
hours: 1-6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. While there,
attendees are encouraged to enter Triumph’s raffle where one lucky winner from the U.S. show
tour will receive a $5,000 certificate towards parts, accessories, clothing and merchandise
online at shop.triumphmotorcycles.com.
