LIFE IN THE FAST LANE Motorcycle & #ATV Show – #Edmonton

EMONTON, AB (December 22, 2014) – The Motorcycle & ATV Show – Edmonton presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance takes place January 16-18, 2015 at the Expo Centre, Northlands. This premiere industry event will showcase the 2015 models from all the major manufacturers.
The 2015 Motorcycle & ATV Show – Edmonton is not only the place to shop and compare all the makes and models but there is a huge selection of gear, apparel, and aftermarket accessories,” says Show Manager, Laurie Paetz, “the Show covers every conceivable aspect of riding, including clubs and associations, as well as Charity Rides and touring destinations, it is the must attend event for motorcycle enthusiasts of all ages.”
Although the 2015 models are sure to be crowd pleasers, many motorcycle enthusiasts are drawn to the classic beauty and ingenuity of some of the older motorcycles. These unique machines, many dating back as far as the early 1900’s, will be on display at the Alberta Vintage Flattrack Association and NORAL exhibit. Proud owners have collected and restored these gems and love nothing more than to share their unique stories with interested show goers.
Friday January 16th is “SHE RIDES NITE” at the Motorcycle & ATV Show – Edmonton. This is an evening geared to women who ride and those that are considering taking up the sport. Industry professionals will be on hand to provide advice and answer all your questions. This year we have a special guest appearance by Valerie Thompson, the seven-time land speed record holder. She is sure to inspire those who possess a need for speed. Women receive half price admission after 5:00 pm and one lucky lady will ride away on a 2015 Kawasaki EX300 valued at over $6,000, courtesy of Canadian Kawasaki, Echo Cycle and E & S Motorcycles.
The Alberta Trials Rider’s Association will be demonstrating one of the lesser known motorcycle disciplines, trials, which is a combination of agility and balance. Riders maneuver over and through a series of obstacles with a level of control and finesse that is truly an art form.
Hall D will play host to the “Evolution of Extreme Thrill Show”, featuring some of North America’s top MX Freestyle riders. Audiences will be wowed as these athletes fly through the air, defying all the laws of gravity. Just to ensure that the action is non-stop; Nick “Apex” Brocha and Ernie “Edub” Vigil of Team Empire, sponsored by Parts Canada will join the action and demonstrate their unique form of street stunts on the arena floor. Check on site for show times as you don’t want to miss out.

The Freestyle Show often sparks an interest in riding among the younger members of the audience. For those that have never had the opportunity to ride or get on a bike, the Yamaha Kids Riding Academy provides just such an
opportunity. Kids age 6-12 take part in an instructional session which is followed up by the opportunity to gear up in the latest gear and take to the track to try their skills, all in a safe supervised environment.
If that weren’t enough the Show will be capped off on Sunday with finalists participating in an elimination style draw in the hopes of riding away on a brand new 2015 Triumph Special Edition Bonneville Newchurch, thanks to Triumph Motorcycles and Echo Cycle. This bike is one of 25 that are available in Canada. Don’t miss your chance to enter to win.
Produced by Power Sport Services (PSS), the Motorcycle & ATV Show – Edmonton boasts an impressive line-up of manufacturers including Arctic Cat, BMW Motorrad, BRP-CanAM, Deeley Harley-Davidson, Ducati, Honda, Indian, Kawasaki, KTM, Piaggio, Polaris, Suzuki, Triumph, Victory and Yamaha, just to name a few.
