#Polaris further expands leadership team with appointment of two industry stalwarts

Buoyed by a recent organizational re-structure including the appointment of two new Country Manager's for its Australian and New Zealand operations and the establishment of Polaris New Zealand as a stand-alone entity, Polaris Industries today announced the appointment of two industry stalwarts to further strengthen its management team in Australia.

Well known industry identity and current ATV Manager for the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI), Cameron Cuthill, will be joining Polaris in the early stages of 2015 in the role of Executive Director – Government Relations, whilst seasoned motorcycle industry executive, Simon Gloyne, will take on the role of Marketing Manager for Polaris's off-road vehicle division in Australia commencing next week.

Cuthill is well-known as a seasoned campaigner in the motorcycle industry, most recently in the pivotal industry role of ATV Manager for the FCAI and prior to that as Manager of Polaris-owned Victory Motorcycles. He also had lengthy stints at BMW and Honda Motorcycles in a number of executive roles and is one of only three people in Australia to hold the highest ATV instructor qualification.

Cuthill's key responsibilities will focus around corporate governance, legislation, compliance and broader industry issues, with a key focus on recreational registration, land access and ATV and side x side safety issues.

Gloyne has been an industry stalwart during a 30-year career in the motorcycle and automotive industries, with the past 11 spent as Brand Mananger at Peter Stevens Importers managing brands such as Hyosung, Vespa and Piaggio. Most recently, however, he has managed the Arctic Cat brand through their launch into the Australian market.

His outstanding experience base is complemented with previous roles as Projects Manager for Monza Imports, National Marketing Manager for Honda Motorcycles, Dealer Manager for Harley Davidson and a range of both sales and aftersales roles with Saab, Daihatsu and Honda.

These appointments come on the back of the recent announcement of Perry Morison as Country Manager for Polaris in Australia, and Alan Collins as Country Manager for the Polaris, Victory and Indian brands in New Zealand.

"We are in the process of building the best team ever assembled in our industry," said Polaris Australia & New Zealand Managing Director, Peter Alexander. "We have the best products, and we are now hand picking the best people to drive the growth of Polaris over both the short and long term."

"As we've seen with Sportsman ACE, our 15 models with Roll-Over Protection, our phenomenal range of Lock & Ride accessories and the recent launch of Indian Motorcycles, the innovation of Polaris is astounding and we are building the best possible team to manage all aspects of our business as we continue to grow and offer more and more options for our customers.

"Just recently we appointed Perry Morrison and Alan Collins to head up our respective Australian and New Zealand businesses, and we are delighted to now welcome the enormous experience base and skill sets offered by Cameron Cuthill and Simon Gloyne to support this new structure," Alexander said.

This announcement comes on the back of a stellar period of growth for Polaris in both Australia and New Zealand, with the US powersports giant posting year-to-date growth of 34.1 percent in Australia and 35.5 percent in New Zealand versus the same period last year.

Polaris is a recognized leader in the powersports industry with a market capitalization of $10.5 billion. Polaris designs, engineers, manufactures and markets innovative, high quality off-road vehicles (ORVs), including all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and the Polaris RANGER ® side-by-side vehicles, snowmobiles, motorcycles and on-road electric/hybrid powered vehicles.

Polaris continues to innovate at a rate of knots, whether that be creating new market segments such as ACE, rolling out a range of Indian Motorcycles just 27 months after purchasing a company which had been dormant for decades, developing a range of 15 models with ROPS that no other brand can match, or innovating the world's largest range of accessories to bolt on and off its products in seconds.

Polaris Industries Inc. trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "PII", and the Company is included in the S&P Mid-Cap 400 stock price index.
