Team Motul Suzuki duo Matt Moss and Lawson Bopping will look to resume their stellar form this weekend when the 2014 Australian Supercross Championship continues at Phillip Island in Victoria.

Staged alongside the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix annually, rounds three and four of the national Supercross season will be contested on 18-19 October in one of the sport's biggest events of the season during the MotoGP weekend.

Defending champion Moss is coming off a clean-sweep at last weekend's Bathurst double-header, leading the championship into Phillip Island on board the 2015 model Suzuki RM-Z450 and had his first taste of the circuit during press day this afternoon.

"The track looks really good, everything is taking shape for tomorrow and this is always a big weekend for us at the MotoGP," Moss explained. "I'm feeling strong on the 2015 RM-Z450 and last weekend at Bathurst went exactly to plan. But now we have to stay focused, there are three rounds remaining and every one of them will be important for us at this stage."

Bopping, who made his return to the team at Bathurst, enters this weekend third in the standings after a spectacular debut 4-3 scorecard one week ago. He's since made further progress with Team Motul Suzuki and hopes to continue with further podium performances as the season progresses.

"Phillip Island is typically a tight track, but a round that attracts massive amounts of attention and we're pumped to race here," Bopping said. "I was happy to get that podium at Bathurst and now the plan is to build from there, because I have the team behind me and am loving the 2015 RM-Z450, so it's been a great start to the season for us."

Rounds three and four of the 2014 Australian Supercross Championship will be held alongside the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Bathurst on 18-19 October.
