#Honda Brings All The Action To 2014 #MotoGP
14/10/2014 - With the fastest riders, the best view of the track, a great range of Honda Motorcycles on display and the coolest interactive experiences on offer, Honda is the brand to follow at the Australian MotoGP this year.
The on-track battle between Honda teammates Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa has waged all year, the pair sharing all but a few of the wins on offer this season. But while Marquez has won the world Championship for 2014, the action between the pair is sure to continue when the show hits Phillip Island this weekend.
The local Honda teams will be out in force this weekend too. Both Team Honda Racing and Penrite Oil Honda Racing will be out to impress over the weekend. Jamie Stauffer, Wayne Maxwell, Josh Hook and Troy Herfoss will be showing their form on the Honda CBR1000RRs whilst Gavin Faith and Jay Marmont will be showing their style on the CRF250R and CRF450R on the purpose built Supercross track.
Spectators will also get to share in the adrenaline-fuelled action through an interactive motocross experience at Honda’s virtual photo booth inside the MotoGP Expo. With help from a savvy green screen, guests will have the opportunity to participate in motocross jumps and stunts with Honda and share the photographic proof instantly to Facebook, as well as take a printed copy home.
Displaying the diversity of the Honda range, the Honda Expo Stand will include Honda’s legendary CBR1000RR and CBR600RR as well as the CBR500R, Valkyrie and the new and exciting CBR650F, CB650F, CBR300R and CB300F, to name a few. Honda staff will be on site offering advice and information about the entire Honda range.
To ensure guests don’t miss a second of action on track, the Honda VIP Marquee offers the greatest viewpoint for watching all the thrills and spills the Phillip Island GP has to offer. Again situated on Gardner Straight, the Honda VIP Marquee boasts indoor, outdoor and grandstand seating, LCD screens and sweeping views of the super screen.
With something for every fan, Honda is the brand to be associated at Phillip Island.
