#Warrior Dog Foundation event

On June 7th 2014 Iron Pony Motorsports will take part in a national fundraiser for the Warrior Dog Foundation.

Founded by Navy SEAL Mike Ritland, the Warrior Dog Foundation helps Special Operation Forces military dogs transition from an operational environment into a state-of-the-art kennel facility upon their retirement. The foundation strives to educate the public on the importance of canines in a combat environment and showcase the level of sacrifice these dogs give. Each dog is cared for with dignity and grace and is provided with both mental and physical rehabilitation for the rest of their lives.

Mike Ritland and his work were featured on 60 minutes a little over a year ago. The segment proved to be very popular.

Speed & Strength is a popular motorcycle clothing and protective gear company that supports The Warrior Dog Foundation. They have a line of clothing called Dogs of War. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Dogs of War are donated to Mike Ritland to help with the continuation of his work.

Iron Pony Motorsports will host various dog friendly organizations on this day and it is our hope that you may come out and join us for this good cause. We will have a motorcycle stunt rider performing. (sponsored by Speed & Strength) We expect 3,000 plus people to attend the event.
