Racing fans attending this weekend’s fifth round of the 2014 World Superbike championship at Donington Park in the UK (23-25 May) and with access to the paddock are in for a special treat with the Pata Honda team – the chance to win an exclusive garage tour.

The team has brought Honda’s famous ‘Power of Lean’ race-bike simulator to Donington as part of the its hospitality unit in the paddock. This unique ride features a racing specification Pata Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP that offers some of the lean angles enjoyed on the track by the team’s World Superbike riders Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam.

The Power of Lean is the perfect opportunity to capture a memorable photographic souvenir of the race weekend but, in 2014, the Pata Honda team is offering to take those memories to an even higher level.

Power of Lean visitors are invited to upload their images to Facebook or Twitter and share them with the world using the hashtag #PowerOfLean. Images will automatically be uploaded to a special gallery at www.hondaproracing.com/poweroflean and, on both Saturday and Sunday of the race weekend, the Pata Honda riders will judge the day’s most stylish rider on the Power of Lean.

The winner on each of the two days will be contacted by the team via Facebook or Twitter by 16.00hrs and invited to bring a guest to enjoy a 10-minute guided tour of the team’s garages, seeing the bikes and their technical crews up close, and perhaps even bumping into one of the team’s riders.
“This is a very special Honda experience and Donington is one of the European circuits where we can bring the famous Power of Lean before it goes to the Isle of Man for the TT”, explained Honda Motor Europe’s racing operations manager, Carlo Fiorani. “I’m sure that all Donington paddock visitors will want a chance to enjoy this special offer and the chance to feel a part of the Pata Honda team.”
