New Colour For #Honda's Extreme #VT1300CX #Fury

With its extreme lines and head-turning looks Honda's VT1300CX Fury has been released in a stunning new Graphite black colour for 2014.

Honda's engineers have designed the VT1300CX to handle, function and ride like no other motorcycle and with its raked-out chopper styling the model reaches the fringes of the two-wheeled world.

The VT1300CX Fury experience is all about that special bond between rider and machine. Every feature of the Fury exemplifies this; a high-mount steering head gives the frame a see-through, open-air look, a long slim fuel tank is perched up high, it has an ultra-low seat height, a big-time rake, a fat 200-series rear tyre paired with a slim 21-inch front wheel, a condensed hard-tail look to the rear end and a stretched wheelbase.

Boasting a muscular 1312cc liquid-cooled 52-degree V-twin engine, the VT1300CX has all the grunt and get-up-and-go expected of a bike of this calibre. With a single-pin crankshaft and dual balancers Honda's Chopper radiates attitude.

The top radiator hose is hidden away beneath the front valve cover, this patented idea illustrates the efforts expended on maintaining an airy look for the front end. The long, slim and voluptuous look of the fuel tank along with handlebar shape and size allow the appropriate amount of steering clearance when the front wheel is turned from stop-to-stop.

An ingenious single-shock rear suspension system with an aluminium swingarm, adjustable rebound damping and five-position spring reload adjustments are masked by the sleek lines at the rear. At the front, a stout 45mm fork ably handles suspension duties, whilst the distinctive alloy wheels offer a single powerful 336mm-diameter front disc brake complemented by a 296mm rear brake disc.

Advanced Antilock Brake System is also standard.

The VT1300CX has a Manufacturer's List Price of just $15,599*. The new colour, Graphite Black is available in Honda Dealerships nationally.
