After a two-week break in the series, the Garmin Arenacross Tour returns this weekend for the final championship round at the Wembley Arena in London.
Both Honda teams will be back to full strength for the event with Elliott Banks-Browne returning to action after missing Newcastle and Sheffield due to a wrist injury. With just one round of the tour remaining, all Honda's riders will be looking to end what has been an exciting series on a high.
Banks-Browne will be aiming to pick up where he left off in Liverpool with a Main Event win. The two-time British Champion has been receiving treatment on his wrist and has been back on his Honda CRF450R. Thomas Ramette will once again be lining up on the Buildbase Honda after an impressive debut at Sheffield.
During the break in the Arenacross tour, Buildbase Honda riders Brad Anderson and Nez Parker took the chance to get some race time under their belts at the famous Hawkstone International.
Anderson finished fifth overall after the two MX1 races, missing the podium by just a single point, while Parker produced two solid results for eighth overall. In the combined Superfinal both riders had to battle past MX2 riders following the staggered start. At the end of the race Anderson finished in eighth place with Parker 15th.
The Dave Thorpe Off Road Centre pairing of Angelo Pellegrini and Luke Arbon both showed their speed at the Sheffield Arenacross round where Pellegrini made it to the podium. The 26-year-old Italian will be hoping to go even better at Wembley, while Australian Luke Arbon, who finally showed his potential at Sheffield, was unlucky to miss the podium in the Main Event due to an early crash.
The final round kicks off at Wembley at 19.30 on Saturday 1 March with tickets available via the Arenacross website at http://www.arenacrossuk.com.
