The 2014 Yamaha #YRRD #Motocross Kit #Parts Are Now Available

Yamaha’s new 2014 YRRD (Yamaha Rinaldi Racing Development) kit parts are now available to order. The 2014 catalogue continues Yamaha’s commitment to delivering the highest quality possible in competition parts developed by a team of expert racing engineers to give racers the edge in motocross. YRRD parts are carefully adapted to the latest YZ model line up using the experience from teams and riders racing from national level to Grand Prix and are being fully tested and evaluated by Yamaha’s testing and factory riders.

In addition to parts for the YZ125 2-stroke model the line up includes selected parts for the all-new 2014 Yamaha YZ250F and YZ450F 4-stroke models.

The 2014 YZ450F adopts the same new compact and lithe chassis employed on the totally reworked YZ250F and is not only a lighter and more responsive motorcycle but also benefits from better centralization and a revised form of the innovative rear slanted engine for better response and yet more torque.

In the MX2 class where usable high power is never enough, the new YRRD 250F kit offers a significant power increase to the already impressive production model power. The kit includes a new modified cylinder head, a lightweight high compression piston, new ECU including a + 500 rpm rev limiter, a higher lift intake camshaft and as an option also a connecting rod is available.

For the YZ450F, with its already class leading power in production specification no general YRRD engine tuning kit has been created. Racers can however benefit from the YRRD hydraulic clutch, improving the clutch function (and clutch plates durability) and automatically adjusting the clutch free play (avoiding the rider having to do it manually).

Following a year of success in both the European and a number of national Championships with numerous race wins and a second place overall in the European standings, Yamaha’s YZ125 continues to be a front contender in its class.

The 125 YRRD kit has remained unchanged: substantial performance increase at relatively limited cost and with an optional cylinder assembly for a next performance step.
