EDMONTON, AB (December 23, 2013) – The Motorcycle & ATV Show – Edmonton will take place at the Edmonton Expo Centre, Northlands, January 17-19, 2014. This is the one opportunity for motorcycle enthusiasts to check out the 2014 new line up new motorcycles, ATV’s and scooters from all the major manufacturers. The doors open at noon on Friday, January 17th and will run through until 5:00 Sunday, January 19th.
“If you are a diehard rider or in the process of considering taking it up, then the Motorcycle & ATV Show – Edmonton is a must attend event,” says Laurie Paetz, Western Show Manager, “There is something for all styles and calibers of riders, whether your passion is off-roading, cruising or taking to the track, this once a year opportunity gives show goers a chance to shop and compare at one easy accessible location.”
The Show is so much more than a new model showcase. There is entertainment, an extensive vintage display, and hands on riding for kids, demonstrations, accessories, apparel, and travel destinations geared specifically for riders.
The popularity of riding among the female population continues to increase every year therefore we have taken the opportunity to cater to the unique needs of the female rider. SHE Rides Nite is back by popular demand. We are offering 50% discount on admission for all the ladies entering the show after 5:00 pm on Friday, January 17th. They will be treated to “female friendly” demonstrations, features, education, information and amazing prizes throughout the evening. This exciting evening will wind down with one lucky female attendee walking away with a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300 valued at $5400.00 sponsored by Canadian Kawasaki and your local Edmonton Kawasaki dealers.
The always popular MX Freestyle “Evolution of Extreme Thrill Show” with special guest stunt riders Ernie “Edub” Vigil and Nick “Apex” Brocha of Team Empire, presented by Parts Canada is sure to be a crowd pleaser. The Show’s high flying action is being performed by some of North America’s most talented riders including Keith Sayers, Drake McElroy, Cody Elkins and Brian McCarty.
Kids can get in on the riding action at the Yamaha Riding Academy for Kids. The YRA emphasizes safety, balance, control, and proper riding equipment. After gearing up and receiving professional instruction from certified instructions, kids ages 6-12 can take to the track and hone their skills. This unique opportunity introduces kids to off road riding.
