111 Original Customer #Bike Deliveries Commence

#Indian Motorcycle Melbourne hosted the first of the 111 Original customers today to take delivery of their highly sort after all-new Indian Motorcycle. After several months of anticipation the wait is over for many of the 111 Originals, which placed deposit orders during the 6 month lead up to the global release of the all new Indian in August this year.

The two lucky customers that got to be the first to collect their bikes were #1 badge holder, Ken Hager who drew the number out of the barrel at the August launch event and Graham Farmilo, officially the first person in Australia to place a deposit for the new Indian. Together these customers will be the first in Australia to twist the throttle of these magnificent bikes on public roads and make history.

You couldn't wipe the smile from Ken's face when he took delivery of the first bike this morning, a Springfield Blue Chief Vintage. After going over all the details of the bike, Ken was keen to get going as he set off home to pack for a 3 day - 1,000km ride through central Victoria. Having read and watched so much about the new bikes, Ken wasn't prepared to wait until the weekend to take it for a ride!

Country Manager, Peter Harvey was on hand to congratulate and said "this is a momentous occasion for the customers and us. The start of 111 Original customer bike deliveries represents the culmination of over 12 months planning and work that has gone into bringing the Indian Motorcycle back to Australia.

We are on track to deliver the majority of our 111 Original customer's bike before year end, making it an extra special Christmas for many of our customers.

We can't wait to start seeing Indian's back on Australian roads, some 65 years on."
