#Honda Brings Junior GP Challenge To Clipsal 500 #Adelaide

27 November 2013 - Honda is thrilled to announce the hugely popular Junior GP Challenge will be brought to the Clipsal 500 Adelaide in 2014. Aspiring motorcycle fans aged between six and ten years old will be offered the chance to throw a leg over Honda's CRF50F and learn the basics of motorcycle riding.

Kids can simply visit the Honda Junior GP Challenge area in the GoPro TrAction Zone during the Clipsal 500 to take part. Supplied with full safety gear, qualified instructors will instruct 20 minute try it sessions on a purpose built track giving kids a unique insight into the exciting world of motorcycling. All kids will ride Honda's CRF50F which, with its single-shock rear suspension, inverted fork and bulletproof four-stroke 49cc engine, is one of Honda's best selling off-road machines.

Now in its 16th year, the Clipsal 500 Adelaide is an internationally recognised motorsport event attracting almost 300,000 visitors annually. Staging round one of the V8 Supercar Championship Series, the Clipsal 500 is Australia's largest domestic motor sport event.

Always eager to have an opportunity to engage the younger motorcycle fans, Honda is proud to be the sponsor of this exciting event. Open all four days of the Clipsal 500, kids are encouraged to visit Honda in the GoPro TrAction Zone to participate.

*Terms and conditions apply:
- All parents of children will have needed to sign an indemnity release form prior to participating in the Honda Junior GP display area. A briefing will be completed to participants and parents prior to each session
- Honda Junior GP Challenge race is open to children who meet the following criteria:
(a) Under the following weight restrictions due to motorcycle manufacturers' specifications: Maximum weight: 40kg;
(b) Are between 5 and 10 years of age
(c) Accompanied by their parent or guardian during the experience. The parent or guardian is responsible for the child at all times.
- There will be a maximum of six children participating in the Junior GP Challenge area at one time. Each session will run for 15 - 20 minutes (TBC)
