Champion #Brits to open @MotorcycleLive

Motorcycle Live kicks off on Saturday 23 November with an opening ceremony that will celebrate the success of four British racing stars who have all secured championship titles in 2013.

World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes, World Supersport Champion Sam Lowes, World Speedway Champion Tai Woffinden and British Superbike Champion Alex Lowes will all make an appearance* as legendary MotoGP commentator Steve Parrish hosts the official show opening and gets the nine-day biking extravaganza underway.

The champions’ ceremony will take place at 10.30am in the British Eurosport Entertainment Zone featuring the Blackhorse Stage, which will play host to a packed schedule of non-stop games, quizzes and talk shows for the duration of Motorcycle Live. Show goers can get involved in the interactive stage games to win exclusive prizes from Dunlop, Silverstone, Oxford, Fast Bikes, Blackhorse and British Eurosport, and will also have the chance to see their racing heroes in the flesh in daily Q&As with James Whitham.

Stars confirmed to attend include Isle of Man TT legends John McGuinness and Michael Dunlop, Moto2 ace Scott Redding, World Superbike riders Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam and MotoGP commentator Matt Roberts. For a full list of names and dates, click here.
