Honda's #CBR600RR Arrives Reflecting The Legendary #RC213V

With inspiration taken from Honda's ultimate RC213V race machine, the 2013 CBR600RR boasts advanced racetrack performance as well as improved capabilities for riding on twisty roads and city streets.

A winner both on and off the track, the CBR600RR offers a perfect balance of high-revving power, precise handling, light weight, and a compact overall size and will arrive into Honda Dealerships next month with an incredibly competitive MLP of just $14,390. (Please note this is the Manufacturers List Price and does not include registration or dealer pre-delivery fees).

Powered by an extremely compact 599cc, liquid cooled, DOHC, four-cylinder engine, the CBR600RR offers superb handling at all speeds. With the engine pumping out ideal levels of power, the focus for 2013 was on the development of the throttle response and feel across the entire rev-range.

To improve torque, the Dual-Stage Ram Air funnel has been redesigned. The nose mounted, two-stage ram air system provides a high volume of cool air to the airbox assisting with linear power delivery and ensuring superb engine performance.

The CBR600RR's all-new front suspension uses a Showa Big Piston inverted fork which is smoother and more responsive giving excellent front-end feedback. The Unit Pro-Link design incorporates new rear shock settings for better suspension performance.

Receiving constant input from Honda's race expertise, the CBR600RR's frame is constructed from twin tubes of diecast aluminium while both lightweight cast aluminium wheels feature the same 12-spoke design used on the CBR1000RR.

The CBR600RR's well-proven brake set-up uses radial-mounted monoblock front-brake callipers which, making the calliper stiffer means a better brake feel and more linear, powerful stopping.

Mirroring the beauty of Honda's RC213V race machine, the CBR600RR features sleek, flowing fairing while the fuel tank cover is shaped to allow the rider to move freely and grip easily.

Taking performance to a new level, Honda's new CBR600RR will reach Honda Dealerships next month in two race-inspired colours; Victory Red and Graphite Black.
