#FIXI CRESCENT #SUZUKI BEGINS 2014 PREPARATION

FIXI Crescent Suzuki took its first steps towards its challenge for the 2014 World Superbike Championship at Jerez in Spain as it completed a day of testing at the 4,423m circuit.
Leon Camier was the team’s sole representative at the test as he compared three separate Suzuki GSX-Rs, which were all in different configurations, in an exercise to find the optimum results. The team also tested a number of electronic strategies and engine modifications in the quest to produce the most competitive bike possible for next season’s attack on the title.
The weather played a part in today’s test, as short, sharp showers forced all riders to the garage a number of times during the day and strong winds made conditions very difficult as the day wore on, before proceedings were brought to a premature end due to a heavy shower.
FIXI Crescent Suzuki will now evaluate the data from today’s test and use the information to make further changes for next week’s return to Jerez, which will give the team the opportunity to assess back-to-back test results at the same track.
