Dunlop Named as Official Tires of Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary



MILWAUKEE (June 10, 2013) – Harley-Davidson ® is celebrating the passion, freedom and independence of its 110th Anniversary by riding around the world and home to Milwaukee with Dunlop ® as the official tire sponsor of the Company’s global anniversary events.



Dunlop will take a prime position at Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary upcoming events in Rome, Sturgis and of course, the Milwaukee events over Labor Day weekend 2013. Harley riders will have the chance to speak with Dunlop staff during these events about tire selection and performance.



Both Harley-Davidson and Dunlop enjoy a deep and respected tradition in the global motorcycling community. Dunlop tires for Harley-Davidson motorcycles are made in the USA and have been mounted as original equipment on Harley-Davidson motorcycles since 1984. Dunlop is recognized as one of the world leaders in motorcycle tire design, engineering and manufacturing excellence. Dunlop is also celebrating a major anniversary of its own in 2013 as it marks 125 years as a tire manufacturer.

Dunlop and Harley-Davidson are working together on several activities for the 110th Anniversary, including having Dunlop staff experts at those events in Rome, Sturgis and Milwaukee, social media motorcycle tire care tips, a tire rebate offer through June 15, and more.

The Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary is a year-long, global celebration connecting millions of Harley-Davidson fans united by a common bond and shared passion for freedom, self-expression and epic adventure. Included in the official 110th Anniversary calendar are 12 different 110th Anniversary experiences that Harley-Davidson will bring to existing motorcycle events in global markets through September 2013. The events span 11 countries on six continents and are capped by two main celebration events in Rome, Italy, in June 2013 and Milwaukee during Labor Day weekend.
