New #Yamaha #WR450F Hosts The #A4DE

Yamaha's all new WR450F is off to a flying start at the race track and in the retail sales charts. Now it can add A4DE headline sponsorship to its repertoire.

Team Active8 gave the new model its first taste of victory in the QLD Pony Express Series, and that was backed up by the Ballards Team riders who dominated their classes at rounds one and two of the Yamaha Australian Off Road Championship.

And desert racer Shane Diener scooped second place in the grueling 800km Condo 750 navigational rally on the versatile race bike. And it's not just at the races where the new model excels. Recently released March retail figures place the new fuel injected model at the top of the pile with over 300 units retailed last month.

This means the new WR450F has reclaimed its rightful spot as Australia's favourite motorcycle.

Now YMA is pleased to announce the model is the naming rights sponsor for the 2012 A4DE to be held at Warragul in Victoria on 24 to 27 October 2012.

"Yamaha has sponsored the A4DE for many years now, and once again we jumped at the chance to assist the nation's biggest off road event. But for the first time we have named the Four Day after a motorcycle model - the all new fuel injected WR450F. This is to focus attention on the new model that our race teams will be showcasing in the iconic event," explains YMA Director/General Manager Steven Cotterell.
