TOMAHAWK OPERATIONS OPENS ITS DOORS TO THE PUBLIC
Friday, May 18th, 2007 - Harley-Davidson Press Release - Total Motorcycle - http://www.totalmotorcycle.com

Tomahawk Operations in Tomahawk, Wis., the facility that manufactures, finishes and ships windshields, sidecars, composite and plastic parts for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, has announced it will offer factory tours of its facility starting Thursday, May 24, through Friday, August 31, 2007. The Tour Center will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and highlight the manufacturing operations at the plant. All tours are free and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. A gift shop will also be available for guests to purchase souvenirs.

"Harley-Davidson has been providing factory tours since at least 1929," said Amy Warner, Manager of Factory Tours. "We now welcome over 100,000 guests annually to our factories in Wauwatosa, York and Kansas City. Our visitors are amazed at the various manufacturing and assembly processes that are involved to make our legendary motorcycles, and we're pleased to extend that to visitors and residents of the Tomahawk area."

Harley-Davidson began manufacturing motorcycle parts in Tomahawk in 1963 at the Somo Avenue Facility, and the Company opened the Kaphaem Road facility in 2002.
