AGV Sport Jacket Zipper issues

#1 Unread post by M109R »

Have an AGV Sport jacket and just got the AGV Sport Universal pants in the mail today. When I tried to zip them together (zipper attachment in the back of jacket and along waist of pants) they wouldn't fit!

Called aGV SPort and they said that they have been getting calls of this fit problem. The zippers on the pant and jacket don't match.

They gave me an RMA to send both the jacket and pants to them to replace the zipper attachment with one that works.

Said it will take 1-2 weeks from the time they receive the leathers to fix the problem.

Make sure your jacket and pants are compatible before buying from the net or stealer so that you don't have to go thru this hassle as well.

many times when you buy the jacket or the pants they come with another piece of the zipper already attached to the zipper so you can take it to a seamstress/tailor and have them attach the other half to your other garment

saves you two weeks.

Sorry to hear it, but at least they're offering to fix the problem. Could have been worse!

Pants Sizes

The other thing, when ordering pants from AGV Sport use their size guide and your current jean size. The pants should fit really well for you.

Just sent my AGV Sport jacket and pants in to get the zippers fixed.

Today wore my black leather bike jacket (heavy cow leather no pads) and jeans when I went riding. Couldn't believe how much better I rode thru the curves. So much more flexibility and movement shifting my weight etc...

Guess it's the trade off for more protection to wear the Sport stuff. (which I plan to continue wearing once it comes back) Still was fun.

Safety first!!
